Kenyan health tech startup [Afya Rekod](https://afyarekod.com/) closed a $2 million seed roundled by Mac Venture Capital, with participation from Next Chymia and others.

- The startup helps patients and health facilities to capture, store and access the mobility of the patient's health data.
- It will be used to scale into other African markets and accelerate the launch of its patient portal.
