Apple to produce some MacBooks in Vietnam, as it shifts production from China

Apple is reportedly set to begin production of some of its MacBooks in Vietnam as early as May 2023, as part of the tech giant's efforts to diversify its manufacturing beyond China amid ongoing trade tensions and supply chain disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to Nikkei Asia, Apple's assembly partner Foxconn will oversee the production of the MacBooks, with the company believed to manufacture between 20 and 24 million of the devices each year.
