[Animoca Brands,](https://techloy.ghost.io/ghost/#/posts?tag=animoca-brands) an Australian crypto gaming developer firm based in Hong Kong, has raised $75 million in its new funding round as the second part of its January $300 million round.

- The fall of the TerraUSD and downs in the crypto market delayed the fundraise, the firm claims.
- Animoca Brands is driving digital rights through NFTs and gaming to build the open metaverse.
- It has invested in over 340 companies in blockchain in building its metaverse where virtual assets are bought and sold in NFTs using crypto.
- Liberty City Ventures and Kingsway Capital invested in the round.
