Eight Roads launches $250 million healthcare fund in India

A global investment firm, Eight Roads has launched $250 million funds dedicated to healthcare and life sciences in India.

  • The firm has invested some of the new funds in physician-only platforms, Doceree a programmatic messaging firm.
  • Eight Roads has a total of $1.6 billion assets under management in India and has invested in healthcare companies including Laurus, LabsPhameasy, Cipla Health, and Toothsi among others.
  • The firm made 12 investments in 2021 and supported 60 companies spanning healthcare and technology.
  • It manages over $8 billion as a venture platform in China, India, Japan, Europe and the US.
