# Google is actively recruiting tech roles in South Africa, Nigeria, and Kenya

Google is looking to hire people in key African markets, particularly in South Africa, Nigeria, and Kenya, in roles including cloud computing, recruiting, marketing, and legal, despite a huge decline in hiring activity across the world.

The technology giant is said to be advertising 50% more jobs in South Africa today than in March 2022, according to *MyBroadband*. The company currently has more than 155,000 employees worldwide.
