- Description: Will the spotlight stay on this week’s gainers, or is the market setting up for a rotation back into majors once BTC finds its footing?

With [Bitcoin](https://www.techloy.com/tag/bitcoin/) slipping under $112,000 and BlackRock unloading nearly a billion dollars’ worth of BTC, the mood across the market felt shaky. But instead of dragging everything down, this week saw a handful of altcoins still maintaining strength, showing that traders are still hunting for plays beyond the big names.

Aster (ASTER) came out on top, rising by more than **191%,** a continuation from [last week's rally](https://www.techloy.com/these-10-coins-gained-the-most-in-week-38/). Trading at $1.78 with a massive $2.7 billion in volume, ASTER grabbed everyone’s attention. While BTC stumbled, ASTER’s surge hints at growing hype around its DEX, and traders clearly saw it as the week’s brightest opportunity.

Other notable movers included **DeXe (DEXE)**, up **15.8%** on demand for decentralized asset management, and **Zcash (ZEC)**, up **11.4%** as privacy coins gained interest in a cautious market.

Safe-haven assets also saw modest gains, even if not as you would imagine. **Tether Gold (XAUT)** and **PAX Gold (PAXG)** rose just under 3% each, moving in line with gold’s strength and proving that tokenized gold is still the go-to hedge when risk feels high. Meanwhile, **Flare (FLR)** edged up **1.6%**, a small gain but notable in a week where many assets stayed flat or slipped.

On the downside, not every project held ground. **MYX Finance (MYX)** dropped more than **32%**, making it the week’s biggest loser among top 100 coins, a reminder that volatility cuts both ways.

So, while Bitcoin looked tired, this week proved that momentum hasn’t left the market. The question now is, will the spotlight stay on DEXs like Aster and DeXe, or does this set the stage for a bigger rotation back into majors once BTC finds its footing?
