I remember when I started using two SIM cards—one physical SIM and an [eSIM](https://www.techloy.com/tag/esim/)—in my [iPhone](https://www.techloy.com/tag/apple-iphone/) 12\. It seemed like the perfect setup, but when I needed to switch my data connection from one SIM to the other, things got confusing fast.

## **Steps to Change Data Connection Carrier on iPhone**

### **Step 1: Open the Settings app and tap Cellular (or Mobile Data, depending on your region)**
