If you're like me and trying to learn a new language, sometimes flashcards and lessons just aren’t enough. What really helps is immersing yourself, surrounding your everyday habits with the language you’re learning. One easy way to do that? Change the language settings in your favourite apps.

Whether you're reading the news in French, scrolling recipes in Spanish, or using social media in German, [Android](https://www.techloy.com/tag/android/) lets you set different languages for individual apps without changing your entire phone’s system language. It’s a small tweak, but it makes a big difference.
