# How to Use Truecaller Without Downloading the App on Your Mobile

Surprisingly, the solution lies in an app you probably already have—[Telegram](https://www.techloy.com/tag/telegram/). And yes, you might be wondering, *How is this even possible?* Well, thanks to the Truecaller bot on Telegram, you can quickly identify callers without installing the official app.

## **Steps to Use Truecaller on Telegram**

### **Step 1\. Open your Telegram app and tap on the search icon (🔍) at the top right corner of the screen.**

### Step 2\. In the search bar, type **"Truecaller Search Number Bot"** and wait for the results to appear.

### Step 3\. Look for the bot with the official Truecaller logo and tap on it. Be cautious not to select a fake bot, as there may be several similar-looking ones.

### **Step 4\.** In the chat window, press the **Start** button. The bot will send an automated message prompting you to enter the phone number you want to check.

### **Step 5\.** Type in the number you want to identify and tap "Send." Be sure to include the country code (e.g., +1 for the U.S., +44 for the U.K.). Without the correct country code, the bot will not recognize the number.

### Step 6\. After entering the number, wait for a few seconds. The bot will search the Truecaller database and provide details such as the caller’s name, profile, and possible spam reports (if available).
