# How to View Blocked Contacts on WhatsApp

We’ve all had moments where blocking someone on [WhatsApp](https://www.techloy.com/tag/whatsapp/) felt necessary, whether it was to avoid spam, cool off after a heated exchange, or just get some peace from an overly chatty group member. 

I’ve used the block feature a few times myself, and recently I realized that I couldn't even remember who I’d blocked over the years. If you’re in the same boat and want to check your blocked list, here’s how to do it.

## **Steps to View Blocked Contacts (On Android)** 

### **Step 1: Open WhatsApp and tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and select** "**Settings"**

### **Step 2: Select "Privacy"**

### **Step 3: Scroll down and click Blocked contacts**

### **Step 4: Now, you’ll see a list of everyone you've blocked. From here, you can tap a name to unblock them if you’ve had a change of heart**

## **Steps to View Blocked Contacts (On iPhone)**

### **Step 1: Open WhatsApp and click the Settings icon at the bottom-right corner**

### **Step 2: Select "Privacy"**

### **Step 5: You’ll see the full list of blocked contacts. Like on Android, you can tap on a contact to unblock them if needed**
