Indian B2C solar products startup SolarSquare secures $4 million in funding

India-based business-to-consumer (B2C) solar products startup, SolarSquare has secured $4 million in its new funding round led by Good Capital investment firm.

  • The funds will be used to expand its presence in India and build out its technology, the startup claims.
  • Founded in 2015, SolarSquare provides modular and prefabricated solar installation designs in India.
  • Since launching in the B2C solar space, the firm has solarized 3,000 homes and housing societies.
  • Lowercarbon Capital, Symphony Asia, Nitthin Kamath's Rainmatter, Maninder Gulati, and Ashish Goel among others participated in the funding round.
