[Swiggy,](https://www.swiggy.com/) a food delivery company based in India has acquired [Dineout,](https://www.dineout.co.in/) a tech-operated restaurant for $200 million. 

- The acquisition is helping Swiggy, an online delivery company focus on dine-in restaurant services in India.
- Launched in 2012, Dineout is an eat-out restaurant offering table reservations and event services with a network of 50,000 partner restaurants in India.
- The restaurant startup was founded by Ankit Mehrotra, Nikhil Bakshi, Sahil Jain and Vivek Kapoor and was acquired by Times Internet in 2014\.
