# Indian furniture and home decor brand Sunday Design raises $1.5 million

[Sunday Design,](https://sundaydesign.in/) India-based furniture and home decor brand has raised $1.5 million in its pre-Series A funding round led by QRG Investments and Holdings, with participation from others. 

- The fund will be used to expand its online and offline presence, and get additional retail spaces in Mumbai and Bengaluru in the coming years.
- Launched in 2021, Sunday Design specializes in making bespoke tasteful furniture pieces for homes.
- The startup will launch an e-commerce store to scale its reach in India and add a new product range including home fragrances, table linen, tableware, and soft furnishings.
- It last raised $1.25 million in 2021, with Kama Group, KCT Family Office, and others participating in the latest raise.
