# Indian jewellery brand Melorra raises $16 million in Series D funding

[Melorra,](https://www.melorra.com/) an India-based jewellery brand has raised $16 million in its Series D funding round to boost its brand marketing and put out more offline experience centres in India. 

- Melorra is a digital-driven jewellery store launched in 2016 by Saroja Yeramilli and Krishna Kumar in India.
- The startup claims it doubled its valuation in 6 months after raising $24 million from 9Unicorns and others in October 2021\.
- The new funding round was backed by Axis Growth Avenues AIF-I, SRF Family Office, N+1 and existing investors.
