Indian location intelligence startup GeoIQ raises $2.25 million

GeoIQ, an India-based location intelligence startup has raised $2.25 million in its new funding round from Lenskart, an eyewear retailing firm.

  • The funds will help the startup expand globally, develop a unique data stack, and build out various AI models through communities of data scientists.
  • GeoIQ links government data with 600 public sources and satellite imagery via proprietary algorithms. The AI layer uses the data points for the estimation of user behaviour, wealth, and business possibilities of a given address.
  • It scaled its revenues 10x in the last 12 months, the firm claims.
  • 9Unicorns and Ecosystems Ventures, existing investors in the firm participated in the round.
