India’s fintech sector also saw a major boost, with **Leap Finance** securing a $100 million debt facility to scale its student lending services, helping more students access loans for studying abroad. In the clean energy space, Vietnam’s **SmartSolar** secured $1.85 million in seed funding to make rooftop solar more accessible to small and medium businesses across Southeast Asia.

Rounding out the week, Indonesia’s **Zentide** raised $525,000 in initial funding to develop seaweed-based biofertilizers and bio-stimulants, to support smallholder farmers and cut down on agricultural emissions.

This week’s funding highlights Asia’s growing focus on AI, fintech, and green energy solutions. With investors continuing to bet big on high-growth sectors, the region’s startup space remains one to watch.
