### upGrad Secures $60 Million in Series F to Drive Global Edtech Expansion

India-based online education platform, upGrad, raised $60 million in a Series F funding round led by Temasek, bringing its valuation to $2.25 billion. The new capital will support upGrad’s expansion into global markets while enhancing its technology platform and learner engagement for both students and professionals.

Founded by Ronnie Screwvala, Mayank Kumar, Phalgun Kompalli, and Ravijot Chugh in 2015, upGrad has become a leader in the edtech sector with over 3 million learners across 100+ countries. 

The platform offers a diverse range of educational programs, from short courses to executive degrees, in partnership with 300 global universities. The funds will also support upGrad’s goal of going public within the next 7–8 quarters.
