Infosys and Walmart offer seamless retail experiences using technology in India

Infosys, an Indian IT services company, has entered into a partnership with U.S.- based Walmart Commerce Technologies to help retailers in India enhance their customer and store employee experiences through technology solutions.

According to the press release by the company, the partnership will focus on implementing and using Store Assist, which is an omnichannel solution that allows for seamless experiences such as pickup, delivery, and shipping from stores for customers and employees.

It is notable to mention that Infosys has extensive experience in helping retailers, consumer tech, consumer packaged goods, and logistics companies navigate digital and emerging technologies, and will be using this expertise to implement the Store Assist app for its customers in India.

The app is API-first, which means it can easily integrate into a retailer's existing commerce or OMS platform. It is built on the same fulfilment technology that Walmart stores leverage, providing retailers with access to decades of operating expertise from the Fortune 1 company.

By leveraging Infosys's expertise and the Store Assist app, retailers can provide their customers with a seamless omnichannel experience while maintaining control of their customer's experience.
