Microsoft is set to join Apple in the $2 trillion club for the first time in nearly six months

Microsoft’s market value is set to close above $2 trillion for the first time in nearly six months amid a rebound in technology stocks.

The company's stock rose as much as 3.4% to $276.76 early Wednesday to become the second tech company with market capitalizations above $2 trillion after Apple, making Microsoft the world's second most valuable tech company by market cap.

Now at $1.99 trillion according to data from companiesmarketcap.com, this is the first time it is set to exceed that level again since August 2022 after rallying 29% from a November low.
