# Paga’s Funding To Date

Today, [Paga announced that it had acquired Apposit](https://medium.com/techloy/nigerian-fintech-startup-paga-acquires-ethiopia-based-software-company-apposit-29381bb1b53d), an Ethiopian-based software company for an undisclosed fee. 

The news, which comes a little over a year after the Nigerian fintech startup [raised a $10 million Series B round](https://medium.com/techloy/why-nigerias-paga-is-becoming-a-global-mobile-payments-company-1ab7812eda58), was expected as it had begun exploring opportunities in other economies, similar to Nigeria to build a global emerging markets powerhouse.
