Singapore's VC firm Jungle Ventures raises $600 million

Jungle Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Singapore has raised $600 million in its fourth funding round to expand in Southeast Asia and India.

  • $450 million of the funds will go to new investments while $150 million is allocated to follow-up investments, the firm claims.
  • Launched in 2012, Jungle Ventures debuted as a $10 million fund and currently has 60 portfolio companies, over $12 billion enterprise value and clocks $1 billion total assets under management with the new fund.
  • Some of the new funds have been invested in Vietnamese digital bank Timo, Singapore office operating system Sleek, Indian D2C consumer electronics brand Atomberg, and Eveworld, a Web3.0-based social-crypto community for women.
  • The firm plans to invest in more companies in Southeast Asia and India.
