Stacked nets $13 million, aims to be the Twitch for web3 gamers

Stacked, a Los Angeles-based streaming platform built by Alex Lin has raised $13 million in its Series A round led by Pantera Capital, with participation from other investors.

  • With this raise, Stacked will reconfigure its video streaming platform with crypto and NFT features, launch in North America in December and later expand into Southeast Asia and Latin America.
  • Stacked is a streaming platform for gaming content– Twitch for web3 users. Creators on the platform will become shareholders by accessing governance tokens, forming a synergy between creators and investors on the platform, the company claims.
  • The platform is available on mobile and app and will look like a conventional streaming platform. The company aims to award tokens to creators based on performance metrics.
  • Z Venture Capital, GFR Fund, and Alexandr Wang, founder of Scale AI, CEO of GOAT and Carl Pei invested in the round. Alexandr participated as a business angel.
