Pirate Week is one of the favorite annual events in Star Citizen, and the 2026 edition of Pirate Week is heavily based on the outlaw theme. The event is filled with a treasure hunt, returning combat mode, new ship paints, and a community art contest on top of the current Alpha 4.10 Siege of Orison build. This is not like a free-fly event; Pirate Week does not allow non-owners to play for free. We need a game Package to log in to the game. In this guide, we will get a breakdown of how the event works, how the treasure hunt actually works, and what are the rewards we can win before it ends.

## Timeline of Pirate Week 2026

The main activities of the event start on September 9, 2026\. A clear deadline is given for the Most Wanted contest, which ends on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 20:00 UTC. CIG confirms 28 September as the end date for the whole event. Every player should try to finish the treasure hunt or unlock the pirate ships before the deadline.

## Working of the Treasure Hunt Cipher

The main attraction of the Pirate Week is the community treasure hunt. The clues to the treasure hunt are not easy to find. They are scattered on purpose across different Spectrum posts, official newsletters, in-game messages, and social media. If we keep looking for clues in one place, we will miss pieces of the puzzle. Each clue is a short riddle written in a pirate language, with part of a code that has a structure like this: X-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-. Solving the riddle gives us the letters or numbers for one section of the code. We have to collect the clues from different places and slowly build the code piece by piece.

To start this event, we should have reliable logistics and a vessel with full fuel. Navigating the high-risk staging areas, restocking fuel tanks, and buying good ammunition can cost too much. Having enough Star Citizen aUEC gives extra financial backing, while preparing the loadout for the ship makes sure that we have proper equipment.

## Segment One: The Levski Memorial Cipher

The first puzzle segment is known as The Levski Memorial Cipher; this leads us to the tunnels of Delamar. The clue hints: "Where the lost are honored deep within the rock, the eternal flames speak louder than words. Count the sparks of remembrance carefully to unlock the first lock". To crack this clue, we go to the asteroid mining hub of Levski and take the central elevator to go down to the worker memorial plaza. Near the statues honoring the fallen miners, we will get decorative candles and plasma flare torches. Counting the exact cluster of burning flames on the memorial pedestal will give us the first digit of the code.

## Funding this Expedition

As our treasure hunt moves forward into the further stages, we have to push into the dangers of the lawless outpost. This makes having strong weapons and defensive gear important. If the ship components are underpowered or our personal gear is not strong enough, we should [buy Star Citizen aUEC](https://www.mmopixel.com/star-citizen-auec) to quickly get high-quality military shields, weapons, and armor sets. This helps to skip the lengthy grinding process so we can properly focus on completing the time-limited event.

## Segment Two: Shadows of Teach’s Ship Shop

To solve the second puzzle, we will go to the shadowy corners of the Stanton system to visit Teach’s Ship Shop. The clue hints: "Where criminals buy their wings under the nose of the law, check the heavy iron boxes where the scrap metal sleeps." To crack this clue, players should check the discarded trade assets rather than standard inventory. When we move from the sales counter to the maintenance corridor, we get stacks of salvage scrap, discarded propulsion components, and forgotten shipping crates. Behind the two heavy cargo containers is a discarded datapad with an active display. Reading the scrambled inventory asset on the screen gives the next four characters of the final code.

## Segment Three: The Dive Bar Arcade

The Third segment sends us to the rugged Watering Holes of the outlaw frontier. The clue hints: "Deep in the lawless dark, the drunkards watch the neon screen. The fifth place holds the key to the vault." To crack the clue, we go to the local lower-deck dive bar where crews gather when not on duty. We will find an old malfunctioning arcade machine in a recess of the lounge with low light; it displays a never-ending loop of retro attract-mode screens and high scores. When we track the flickering sequence of initials closely and the numerical score counters when the monitor reboots, we can find the four repeating digits hidden within the display timing. That sequence is directly translated into the third segment of the final code.

## Segment Four: The Excavation Site Scaffolding

The fourth and final cipher takes us to the rim of an industrial excavation site. The clue hints: "On the scaffolding overlooking the infinite void of the pit, the red paint marks the end of the outlaw's road." To crack the clue, we navigate to the metal scaffolding hovering above a massive open borehole pit. We move down the main railings with an active helmet and flashlight switched on, to inspect the support beams under the primary observation deck. We will find a hidden 4-digit code spray-painted in faded red pirate graffiti.

## The Final Master Code and Reward Redemption

Combining the four clue pieces gives the complete assembled master code. To redeem the treasure hunt reward, we have to open the browser and log in to the verified Roberts Space Industries account. Go to the Pirate Week 2026 transmission page. From there, find the Underworld Intercept Terminal input field and paste the complete master code in the original format with hyphens, and then decrypt it. After the decryption is successful, we will find the 2026 Nine Tails Golden Challenge Coin and the official Dread Outlaw spectrum title in our collection as permanent entitlements, which confirms the successful completion of the treasure hunt.

## Conclusion

Star Citizen Pirate Week 2026 mixes treasure hunt, storytelling, and outlaw experience together. Whether we spend our time flying strikes in Pirate Swarm, look for upgrade options in Drake hulls, or track down the clues across space, the event celebrates living outside the law. After decoding the ciphers and combining the final code, every pilot can claim their rewards and go back to the stars with their pockets full.
