Thailand’s PC monitor market declined by 17.6% year over year (YoY) and declined by 20.2% quarter over quarter (QoQ) at 218,000 units in Q4 22, according to the latest research from *International Data Corporation (IDC).*

Market analysts attributed the decline to softened consumer demand post-pandemic, oversupply issues, falling exchange rate and ongoing inflation issues in the region.

Acer led the market among the top 5 companies with an 18.7% share. Even though its shipments declined by 43.2% YoY, selling prices remained aggressive especially on entry-level monitors, in Q4 22.

Dell sat closely in second place in terms of total shipments accounting for a 16.5% market share in the quarter while Lenovo was in third place with a 15.0% share. The vendor had its highest-ever shipments thanks to commercial tenders in both the public and private sectors.

Meanwhile, LG took fourth place with a 10.9% share in the quarter and Samsung held the fifth position with a share of 10.4% as it recorded a double-digit QoQ and YoY growth in the quarter due to attractive promotions and great inventory management.
