# TikTok is recruiting Content Partnerships Managers from South Africa and Nigeria

TikTok is looking to hire people in the African markets, with an interest in South Africa and Nigeria for the role of Content Partnerships Manager. 

This role is particularly open to sports and gaming experts in [Johannesburg, South Africa](https://careers.tiktok.com/position/7103457410773747982/detail) and [Lagos, Nigeria](https://careers.tiktok.com/position/7202190137340643643/detail) as TikTok seeks to break into the sub-Saharan African market, build up teams and champion the needs of the creators and communities on the platform; recording that South Africa and Nigeria are key players in the continent with both countries having a record of 16 million active users.

Despite [hiring thousands of engineers](https://www.techloy.com/tiktok-begins-hiring-amid-big-tech-layoffs/) in November 2022 and recording layoffs early in 2023, this is TikTok’s most significant role hiring as it is projected to boost its revenue which is over $9.4 billion.
