# UAE-based foodtech startup ChatFood secures $3 million in funding

[ChatFood,](https://www.chatfood.io/) a foodtech startup based in UAE has raised $3 million in a bridge round funding led by Antler with participation from 6G Capital and Guillaume Pousaz's Zinal Growth. 

- The fund will be invested in developing its product to improve efficiencies for restaurants, bars, hotels, and entertainment venues, and set its operations in Saudi Arabia.
- ChatFood is an omnichannel ordering and data-driven marketing platform that helps businesses in the hospitality space gain control of their customers and sell online. It is Instagram and WhatsApp-enabled to order hospitality services.
- The startup is growing at a 260% rate year-on-year with a 25% labour efficiency recorded thus far.
- It has now raised $7 million in total since its seed round led by BECO and Wamda Capital last year.
