[Pure Harvest Smart Farm,](https://pureharvest.ae/) an agritech startup based in UAE has raised $180.5 million in its new funding round to support its business expansion.

- The fund will be invested in research and development, expanding across the GCC, and opening new markets in Asia.
- Founded in 2016, Pure Harvest uses hydroponic technology to grow fruits and vegetables in harsh desert climates.
- Metric Capital Partners based in the UK, IMM Investment Corp based in Korea, and KSA's Olayan Group invested in the new round.
- The startup has raised $387 million since its launch.
