Within minutes, thousands of users started flagging problems with the platform. At the peak of the outage around 1:10 p.m. ET, nearly 23,000 reports had been logged. Most users reported that messages were failing to send or load, while others saw chats stuck in a loading state even though servers appeared to be online.
