Nintendo just dropped a wave of exciting news in its latest Direct: Partner Showcase, giving fans a sneak peek at upcoming games, big collaborations, and updates across its consoles. From highly anticipated releases to surprise announcements, the showcase has gamers buzzing and counting down the days until they can play.

Here is a list of all the major announcements at the Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase 2026: 

The Switch Is Now Nintendo’s Best-Selling Console of All Time
Nintendo Switch has broken the record of being the all time best-seller of Nintendo.

Orbital — Launches Summer 2026 (Exclusive)

Nintendo started the event with Orbital, a new exclusive game launching later in summer2026. Team up as Maki and Omura in this retro anime-inspired, two-player co-op adventure and use your wits to beat the odds while trying to save their home galaxy. 

Orbital can be played in split-screen using two pairs of Joy-Con 2 controllers on one device, sharing the game locally with Nintendo Switch 2’s GameShare feature, or matchmaking online with friends with built-in microphones and GameChat support, letting players around the world communicate and save the day together. 

It launches later in the year.

Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse — February 19, 2026

A brand-new PARANORMASIGHT story unfolds in Ise-Shima, Japan, a region steeped in mermaid folklore, as players follow a cast of compelling characters investigating the mysteries of the Mermaids of Ise.

Players will unravel multiple perspectives and shape the narrative toward a gripping conclusion. 

It will launch February 19, 2026 on Nintendo Switch. Preorders are live today on the Nintendo eShop.

Captain Tsubasa II: World Fighters — 2026

Anime football fans got a major win with Captain Tsubasa II: World Fighters, coming to Nintendo Switch in 2026. 

Continuing the series’ arcade-style take on the iconic franchise with 22 national teams and over 110 playable characters, Captain Tsubasa’s latest installment delivers high-energy, super-powered soccer where nonstop spectacular plays create fast, unpredictable matches every time.

It will launch later this year.

Switch 2 (and Switch) Games

Tokyo Scramble — February 11, 2026 (Switch 2 Exclusive)

In this survival-puzzle-action adventure, you play as Anne, a high schooler dragged into the depths beneath Tokyo, where she must outsmart, evade, and battle deadly Zino creatures across a hostile world using strategy, stealth, and survival instincts to find her way back home alive.

Tokyo Scramble launches February 11, 2026, exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 and introduces GameShare, allowing up to four players to play together locally or online even if they don’t all own the game.

Valheim — 2026 (Switch 2)

The survival hit Valheim is officially coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, bringing its open-world Viking sandbox to Nintendo players for the first time. 

The game allows players to set sail on their own Viking adventure in Valheim, where you can explore a monster-filled world solo or with up to nine friends, crafting, battling, and surviving your way toward glory, and if you endure, you’ll earn Odin’s favour and a place in his halls. Skål!

Hollow Knight (Nintendo Switch 2 Edition) — Available Today

Explore winding caverns, battle corrupted creatures, and uncover ancient mysteries in this classic-style 2D action adventure now enhanced with higher resolution, smoother frame rates, added effects, and more.

Hollow Knight: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition launches today on the Nintendo eShop. Existing Switch owners can upgrade to the Switch 2 version for free via the upgrade pack, one of the most player-friendly moves of the showcase. 

eFootball Kickoff — Summer 2026 (Switch 2)

Konami’s rebooted football franchise arrives as eFootball Kickoff, reviving the spirit of Pro Evolution Soccer. Players can compete in World Tour mode and play locally or online multiplayer when it launches on Nintendo Switch 2 in summer 2026.

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales — June 18, 2026 (Switch 2)

From the creators of OCTOPATH TRAVELER and BRAVELY DEFAULT, this brand-new action RPG blends thrilling action-adventure gameplay with stunning HD-2D visuals for the first time join Elliot and the fairy Faie as they journey through four epic ages. 

This launches June 18, 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2, blending classic side-scrolling combat with modern storytelling and visuals.

Super Bomberman Collection — Available Today (Switch & Switch 2)

The SUPER BOMBERMAN Collection brings together 7 titles across 12 versions, including the long-awaited unreleased localised editions of SUPER BOMBERMAN 4 and 5, plus Boss Rush mode, enhanced support features, expanded libraries, and more for nonstop party-battle action. The digital version will be available today, while the physical version will be available in August 2026, even in North America and Europe, where titles were previously unreleased.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth — June 3, 2026 (Switch 2)

FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, the second chapter of the remake project, launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on June 3, 2026; pre-order now for digital bonuses on the Nintendo eShop, or get the physical edition to receive a limited Magic: The Gathering “Zack Fair” card by Tetsuya Nomura, while supplies last.

Pragmata — April 24, 2026 (Switch 2)

After a chance encounter, spacefarer Hugh Williams and android Diana navigate a perilous lunar research station, using Diana’s hacking skills to disable enemy armour and create openings for Hugh’s arsenal of firearms. 

PRAGMATA, Capcom’s all-new sci-fi action-adventure, combines intense combat with a unique hacking twist for a gameplay experience which arrives April 24, 2026, on Nintendo Switch 2. A playable demo drops later today on the Nintendo eShop.

Turok Origins — Fall 2026 (Switch 2)

Turok Origins launches Fall 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2 and lets players switch seamlessly between first-person and third-person perspectives during dinosaur-hunting combat while recharging with slain alien life. This game comes during the fall of 2026.

Kyoto Xanadu — Summer 2026 (Switch & Switch 2)

This new 3D action RPG blends fast-paced combat with urban fantasy storytelling set beneath Kyoto, Japan, and battles monsters while uncovering the mysteries that await in this thrilling new action RPG and launches Summer 2026 on both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.

Resident Evil Requiem, Amiibo Support, and Capcom’s Big Push

Capcom delivered one of the biggest segments of the show with Resident Evil Requiem, launching February 27, 2026, on Nintendo Switch 2.

Players can switch freely between first-person and third-person cameras, choose difficulty levels, and enable accessibility tools like aim assist. Preorders are live today on the Nintendo eShop.

Also launching the same day include: Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (Gold Edition), and Resident Evil Village (Gold Edition)

Nintendo is also releasing a Switch 2 Pro Controller with original Resident Evil artwork and, Amiibo figures of Grace and Leon, which unlock in-game skins and Creator’s Voice video led by Director Koshi Nakanishi

Anime-zing Games: Digimon, Granblue, and Monster Hunter

Digimon Story: Time Stranger — July 10, 2026 (Switch & Switch 2)

Embark on a turn-based adventure across time and space in Digimon Story: Time Stranger, commanding over 450 Digimon to save the future. On Nintendo Switch 2, choose Quality Mode for 4K at 30 FPS or Performance Mode for 1080p at 60 FPS.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on March 13, 2026. Download the free demo and pre-order. 

In this turn-based, story-driven RPG, raise, ride, and battle iconic monsters from the Monster Hunter series, including favourites from Monster Hunter Rise. Play the opening hours in the demo and carry your progress over when the full game releases.

Bethesda Brings Fallout, Indiana Jones, and Oblivion to Nintendo

Todd Howard closed out Nintendo’s partner segment with a major announcement: Bethesda is officially bringing several of its biggest franchises to Nintendo platforms.

“We’ve been huge fans of Nintendo, especially the original Nintendo,” Howard said. “We’re pleased to announce a few of our games coming to the Nintendo system.”

Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition — February 24, 2026 (Switch 2)

Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition brings the complete Fallout 4 experience to Nintendo Switch 2, including the base game, six official expansions—Automatron, Far Harbor, Nuka-World, and the Workshop packs—plus over 150 Creation Club items. 

Build settlements, battle robots, explore the Commonwealth, and enjoy new weapons, Dogmeat breeds, gameplay tweaks, and quest expansions. It launches February 24, 2026, with preorders live today on the Nintendo eShop.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle — May 12, 2026 (Switch 2)

The cinematic action-adventure arrives May 12, 2026, letting players wield Indy’s iconic whip across puzzle-solving, stealth, and combat scenarios. Preorders go live later today.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered — 2026 (Switch 2)

Bethesda also confirmed Oblivion Remastered is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 later this year, marking the first time the classic open-world RPG arrives on a Nintendo system with updated animations and modernised combat.
