Google Teases 'Pixel 10' Design Ahead of Launch
Looks like the leaks were right.
The Pixel 10 launch is just weeks away, and in true Google fashion, the leaks have been pouring in for months. But instead of playing whack-a-leak like some of its rivals (Apple, we’re looking at you), Google seems to have taken a different route this year by leaning into the chaos.
A short teaser video quietly went live on the Google Store homepage, giving us our first official glimpse of the upcoming device.
While the video doesn’t explicitly call it the Pixel 10, it shows off a greyish-blue phone with three cameras, a flash, and what looks like a temperature sensor, details that line up almost exactly with earlier leaks of the Pixel 10 Pro. So while the name wasn’t dropped, the visual confirmation is as good as any.

That said, it’s still just a teaser. No deep dives into the hardware, no confirmation on specs, just a quick look at the back of the phone. And yes, the design matches what we've seen in renders, no drastic redesigns from the Pixel 9, just subtle refinements like a relocated SIM slot and a more compact rear camera bezel. The Moonstone colour shown in the video is also one that had popped up in previous leaks, alongside others like Jade, Obsidian, and Porcelain for the Pro, and bolder shades like Indigo and Limoncello for the regular Pixel 10.

Now, if all these design leaks turned out to be accurate, it raises the question: were the rumoured specs right too? According to past reports, the Pixel 10 Pro is expected to feature the new Tensor G5 chip, 16GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, and a 4,870mAh battery. The regular Pixel 10 might even get an 11MP telephoto lens, a first for the non-Pro model.
Of course, it’s all still unconfirmed. Google could just be toying with us ahead of its August 20 event. Maybe the teaser’s legit. Maybe it’s a decoy. Maybe they’re trolling us all. Either way, we’ll find out soon enough and hopefully, without any more leaks (but let's be real, there’ll probably be more).
