Asia’s startup ecosystem witnessed over $201 million in funding this week, with companies across mobility, fintech, artificial intelligence, water tech, and health sciences securing capital. India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Singapore were among the most active geographies, with startups attracting fresh capital to accelerate expansion and product development.

Topping the list this week was India’s SUN Mobility, which raised $60 million to scale its battery swapping infrastructure to Africa and the Philippines. In the fintech space, RD Technologies, a Hong Kong-based stablecoin infrastructure company, secured $40 million in a Series A2 round.

Indonesia’s Sirclo, an e-commerce enabler, raised $38 million in funding to support its continued platform expansion for small and medium businesses. Meanwhile, India’s Navi Technologies, a fintech unicorn founded by Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal, raised $20 million in debt funding to grow its digital lending and insurance platforms.

In Japan, Pahr Therapeutics secured $14 million in seed funding to advance its research in developing treatments for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a rare and life-threatening cardiovascular disorder.

Back in India, Metaforms, an AI startup based in Bengaluru, raised $9 million in Series A funding to triple its engineering team, expand into voice-based research, and integrate more deeply with market research tools like SPSS and Decipher.

Singapore’s Hydroleap, which develops eco-friendly water treatment solutions, raised $4.75 million to grow its clean tech offerings across Asia, focusing on non-chemical water recycling and industrial applications.

India’s Arivihan, an AI-powered edtech platform, secured $4.17 million in a pre-Series round to improve its multilingual support, enhance its adaptive learning system, and expand operations into three additional Indian states. Also, in India, Sharpsell.ai, a sales automation SaaS startup, raised $3.4 million in Series A funding to expand into Southeast Asia and the MENA region, and to improve its AI-driven sales playbook engine.

In Indonesia, McEasy, a transportation and logistics SaaS company, secured $3 million in Series A2 funding to expand its smart transportation platform. Following closely is Drizz, an Indian startup building a mobile app testing platform powered by AI, which raised $2.7 million in seed funding to advance its Vision AI engine and expand its engineering team.

Rounding up this week, DesignX, a Noida-based startup that helps enterprises with product design and prototyping, raised $2 million in a Pre-Series A round.
