Asia’s startup ecosystem saw a surge of activity this week, with companies across robotics, renewable energy, design-tech, and consumer brands raising a combined $207.1 million. While China dominated in terms of deal size, India led with the most number of funding deals, showing the depth and diversity of its startup ecosystem.

At the top of the list, Chinese humanoid robotics startup X Square Robot raised $100 million to ramp up production of its next-generation robots, highlighting China’s strong push in the global robotics race.

In second place, India’s Flipspaces, an interior design and build-tech startup, secured $50 million in an extended Series C round to expand globally and strengthen its operations. Meanwhile, renewable energy gained momentum with GREW Solar, the Ahmedabad-based venture of Chiripal Group, raising nearly $34 million to develop new products, upgrade infrastructure, and drive large-scale expansions.

On the growth stage, Trufrost & Butler, a commercial refrigeration and foodservice equipment supplier from India, raised $7 million in a growth-stage funding round to accelerate its growth, improve order fulfillment, and explore select international markets.

Presolv360, an Indian online dispute resolution platform, brought in $4.7 million in Series A funding to strengthen its legal-tech platform and expand into more categories of dispute resolution.

In hardware innovation, Indigrid Technology, which designs and manufactures electronic systems in India, raised $4 million to boost production, expand automation, and grow its international presence.

On the consumer front, Ember, a cookware brand from India, raised $3.2 million in a seed round to expand manufacturing, grow R&D, and reach more households across India. Similarly, Asaya, a research-backed skincare brand, raised $3 million in pre-Series A funding to set up an advanced innovation center, scale distribution, and accelerate product development.

Cybersecurity also saw traction with Aurva, an AI-driven enterprise security startup from India, which secured $2.2 million in a seed round to strengthen its monitoring tools, grow its sales, and expand into global markets.

Closing out the week, BacAlt Biosciences, a biotech startup from India, raised $2 million to enhance R&D, build pilot production capabilities, hire new talent, and expand into international markets.
