Even with India already housing more than 180,000 startups and over 120 unicorns, you’d expect things to be slowing down by now. But that hasn’t happened yet. This week alone, the broader Asian region recorded about $218 million in disclosed funding, with India taking a noticeable share and the rest coming from markets like Malaysia and Singapore. Here’s a quick look at some of the key deals making the headlines.

Starting in India, MoEngage, which operates across India and the U.S., raised $100 million in a new round led by Goldman Sachs Alternatives and A91 Partners. This brings its total funding to over $250M. The new capital, according to the company, will go into expanding its AI features and building out its teams in North America and EMEA.

From Singapore, Video Rebirth followed with $50M for its AI video generation platform. The startup is building what it calls a “world model” designed specifically for high-end production work in film, advertising, and animation, led by a mix of global financial and strategic backers.

Back in India, Spacewood Furnishers raised Rs 300 crore (~$36M) from A91 Partners at a $135M valuation, with the capital going toward expansion and brand growth.

In Malaysia, Paywatch, a fintech provider offering earned-wage access, closed a $20M Series A led by Kakao Pay and Artem Ventures. This brings its total capital to more than $50M, including credit lines from global banks.

Also in India, Wabi — founded by one of the creators behind Replika — raised $20M to build an app discovery platform where users can instantly try apps the same way they browse videos. The team describes it as a “YouTube for apps.”

Zynk, a New Delhi-based startup, raised $5M in a seed round led by Hivemind Capital with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Alliance DAO, and others. The company plans to use the funds to expand its financial infrastructure platform globally.

Meanwhile, logistics tech startup Stackbox secured $4M to speed up product development and expand further across Southeast Asia, while strengthening operations in India.

Still in Singapore, Rolo Robotics closed a $3.5M Seed round to advance fully autonomous micro-kitchen systems powered by robotics and AI.

And finally, to wrap it up, Wiz.ai also closed its Series B round, bringing in tens of millions of dollars led by the SMBC Asia Rising Fund, with continued backing from Singtel Innov8 and Granite Asia.
