Made by Google Event 2025: The Pixel 10 Lineup and Other Devices Unveiled at the Event

Here's every device Google unveiled at its Made By Google Event. And if you've been keeping up with the leaks, don't expect many surprises.

Every year, we wait for the Made by Google event with the same mix of curiosity and excitement. It’s the moment when Google steps onto the stage to unveil what’s next: the new Pixels, smarter AI tools, and those little surprises that end up shaping how we use tech every day.

The 2025 event carried that same sense of anticipation. From the moment the lights dimmed and the music kicked in, it felt like Google was once again inviting us into its vision of what’s next. And as the announcements unfolded, they showed off more than new hardware and software; they gave us a glimpse into how these innovations might reshape the way we live, work, and connect.

Google is back with its toughest foldable yet, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Built like a tank yet refined enough for everyday carry, this one brings a re-engineered gearless hinge rated to last twice as long as before, plus IP68 water and dust resistance, a first for foldables.

The displays step up too: an 8-inch inner screen and a 6.4-inch outer panel, both pushing 3000 nits for clear visibility even under harsh sunlight. Power won’t be a concern either, with over 30 hours of use, faster charging, and Qi2 wireless support alongside new magnetic Pixelsnap accessories.

The cameras remain a highlight, a 48MP triple system paired with AI features like Instant View and Camera Coach to level up your shots. All told, it’s a foldable designed to last, not just impress with a starting price of $1,799.

Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL

These Pro models continue Google’s tradition of offering two screen sizes: a 6.3-inch (Pro) and 6.8-inch (Pro XL) Super Actua display, both shining at up to 3,300 nits brightness and covered in Gorilla Glass Victus 2 with aluminium frames, plus IP68 durability.

The only major differences between the two models are screen size, battery capacity and charging speeds.

Both are equipped with the Tensor G5, 16 GB RAM, and ship with Android 16 featuring Material 3 and AI-first enhancements. The camera arrays, 50 MP primary, 48 MP ultrawide, and 48 MP telephoto, enable up to 100× Pro Res Zoom and 8K video capture via Video Boost.

Batteries are sized at 4,870 mAh for the Pro and 5,200 mAh for the Pro XL. The Pro also supports 30W wired charging, while the Pro XL goes up to 45W wired and 25W wireless. Launch pricing starts at $999 for the Pro and $1,199 for the Pro XL, both available from August 28

Pixel 10

The Pixel 10 arrives with a familiar sleek design but steps up in substance with the introduction of a triple-camera system, a first for the base model, now featuring a 48 MP main lens, 13 MP ultrawide, and a new 10.8 MP telephoto lens offering 5× optical zoom and up to 20× Pro Res Zoom. Under the hood, it’s powered by the new Tensor G5 chip (3 nm, TSMC) paired with 12 GB RAM, and ships with Android 16 enhanced by Gemini’s AI capabilities like Magic Cue and Camera Coach.

The display is a 6.3-inch Actua panel with 120 Hz refresh (LTPS, up to 120 Hz), Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and IP68 water and dust resistance. It supports Pixelsnap magnetic Qi2 wireless charging at 15 W and fast wired charging, with a 4,970 mAh battery rated for over 24 hours of use.

Pricing starts at $799, with pre-orders live now and general availability from August 28, 2025.

Pixel Watch 4

Next up, the Pixel Watch 4, more evolution than iteration. It debuts a domed Actua 360 display that’s 50% brighter, wrapped in a design that’s both elegant and more resilient. Battery life now stretches to 40 hours with speedier charging to match. The standout addition? Standalone satellite communication, making it the first smartwatch that can call for help even when you’re far from a signal.

Health features also get sharper, smarter tracking, more accurate sleep insights, and Gemini on your wrist acting as a personal AI health coach throughout the day. The result is a smartwatch that looks polished, runs longer, and is ready when you truly need it. Both the 41mm & 45mm start at a price of $349 for Wi-Fi and $449 for LTE.

Earbuds: Pixel Buds 2a

Google also unveiled the Pixel Buds 2a, offering Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) in its A-series for the first time, powered by the Tensor A1 chip. These lightweight, compact earbuds (IP54 rated) deliver up to 7 hours of playback with ANC on, extending to 20 hours with the charging case, which now features a replaceable battery, a first for Pixel Buds.

They integrate Gemini AI for hands-free assistance, summarising messages, helping with calls, and more, and pair seamlessly with Pixel phones via Fast Pair and Multipoint.

Launch price is $129, with pre-orders open now and availability starting October 9, 2025.

Conclusion

If you watched the Google event, you were either left with a bad taste in your mouth, as many as described it as one of the cringiest tech events in recent times, but in my eyes, it was the first event in a while that felt even slightly authentic.

But no matter what you were left feeling, it was clear that Google made it a point to deliver its best this year with its products. We might not have had any major surprises since everything got leaked a while back. But the event still managed to reinforce Google’s vision of what tech should be, which is to 'expect more from your device'.

And maybe that, more than the stage performance itself, is what we’ll remember from Made by Google 2025.
