OnePlus is preparing to launch a new smartphone line called Turbo. The company confirmed the line-up with official teasers on December 25th, revealing design, battery, display, and core hardware details ahead of the January 8, 2026 launch in China, which coincides with CES 2026, adding to the tech buzz at the global show.
The line-up includes two models: - OnePlus Turbo 6 - OnePlus Turbo 6V
OnePlus shared official renders showing the Turbo 6 in wilderness green, lone black, and chasing light silver. The silver version features a distinct holographic edge finish. The Turbo 6V has a simpler look with a dual‑camera layout, suggesting lower‑end hardware compared with the main model. The battery life of this Turbo series is its biggest selling point. Both phones are confirmed to come with a 9,000 mAh battery, the largest ever seen in a OnePlus device. That puts them well above recent models like the OnePlus 15, which had a 7,300 mAh cell. The design and size of the Turbo series reflect that focus on endurance rather than a thin profile.
Both models will use large displays with high refresh rates. The Turbo 6 is confirmed with a 165 Hz panel, matching the smoothness seen on higher‑end OnePlus phones. The Turbo 6V’s refresh rate is expected to be slightly lower but still competitive.

On performance, the Turbo 6 will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip. This is a high‑end midrange chipset that delivers strong everyday performance and capable gaming without flagship pricing. Other hardware details have not been officially confirmed yet, but leaks and teasers point to Android 16, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and capable camera sensors. OnePlus has not confirmed global availability. The phones will launch in China first and could be rebranded for other markets. Some reports suggest they might arrive outside China under a different name, possibly as part of the Nord series.
