💬 "Google It" or "ChatGPT It"?
An era might be rapidly nearing its end.
For so long, "Google It" was practically a reflex, the universal answer to any question. But if the latest numbers from ChatGPT are anything to go by, that era might be nearing its end. Why so? Well, OpenAI’s chatbot is now handling over 2.5 billion prompts daily, with 330 million of those coming from the U.S. alone.
Staggering, you might say. But what’s wilder is that just a few months ago, ChatGPT was generating 1 billion prompts a day. Now, with 800 million active users, ChatGPT is going from a novelty to something you can’t seem to ignore—whether it’s for writing emails, brainstorming ideas, or solving that random problem.
For now, Google’s still holding the search crown with over 13 billion daily searches, but how long would it take for ChatGPT to catch up? Will it ever?
See you at the next one!
