Nintendo brings Official App Store for iOS and Android Users
Gamers can now track a few goodies on their app stores
Nintendo is finally making it easier for fans to shop, track gameplay, and stay connected. The gaming giant has released a new Nintendo Store app for iOS and Android, a global expansion of the “My Nintendo” app that launched exclusively in Japan five years ago.
Now available in the US, UK, Canada, and most of Europe, the app gives users direct access to Nintendo’s ecosystem from Switch 2 consoles and accessories to games, collectibles, and official merchandise, all from their mobile devices.
According to the app listings, users can browse and purchase both physical and digital titles, as well as hardware, though the final checkout still redirects to a web browser. Still, the app offers a smoother experience than manually visiting the eShop through mobile browsers.

Beyond shopping, Nintendo added a personal touch: players can now review their gameplay history, including what games they played, when, and for how long. This covers both the Switch and Switch 2, and even older consoles like the 3DS and Wii U (up to February 2020). Previously, this data was only accessible through parental control setups.
The app also lets users receive push notifications when wishlist items go on sale, stay updated via a news feed with the latest Nintendo announcements and events, and also, earn rewards by checking in at official Nintendo stores and pop-up events.
This new app joins Nintendo’s growing suite of mobile platforms, including Nintendo Music and Nintendo Today, as part of the company’s push to create a more connected fan ecosystem.
The takeaway
By bringing the Nintendo Store to mobile, the company isn’t just expanding convenience it’s building a lifestyle ecosystem around its most loyal fans. From shopping to gameplay tracking, Nintendo is clearly making the Switch experience more personal and portable than ever.
