Realme P4x 5G Debuts in India With Big Battery, Fast Display, and Aggressive Pricing
Thanks to silicon carbon, the phone debuts with a 7000mAh battery.
Realme has been on a bit of a hot streak lately. It has unveiled major collaborative phones recently, like the Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Edition and the Realme GT 8 Pro Aston Martin edition, too. The company has leaned heavily into eye-catching collaborations that grab headlines and stir up hype.
But this time, Realme is taking a slightly different route. No big franchise tie-ins, no luxury brand partnerships, just a spec sheet that, quite honestly, could pass for a blockbuster script on its own.

Okay, maybe that’s an exaggeration, but when a mid-range phone launches with a 7,000mAh battery, it’s hard not to do a double-take. That alone positions the new Realme P4x 5G as one of the most heavy-duty devices in its segment, especially for gamers, binge-watchers, and anyone who doesn’t want their phone begging for a charger before lunch. And that’s just the start of what Realme is packing into this thing.

The P4x 5G comes with a 144Hz display, which is the kind of refresh rate you’d normally expect from gaming-centric phones that cost way more. Paired with up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness, it’s built for smooth scrolling, fluid animations, and solid outdoor visibility. Under the hood, Realme is using the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset, a 6nm processor that, according to the company, pushes AnTuTu scores above the 780,000 mark. That puts it in the same performance neighbourhood as some phones priced a full tier higher.
But power means heat, and Realme seems well aware of that. The P4x 5G is fitted with a 5300mm² vapour chamber under its “Frozen Crown Cooling System,” designed to keep temperatures under control during long gaming or streaming sessions. It’s also surprisingly practical, offering up to 18GB of virtual RAM support and storage expansion up to 2TB.
On the camera side, the phone features a 50MP AI camera with support for 4K video recording. Nothing too flashy here, but respectable enough for the category, especially given where Realme clearly wants users to focus: performance and battery endurance.

Where things get even more interesting is the pricing. The Realme P4x 5G starts at ₹15,499 for the 6GB/128GB model, while the 8GB/128GB variant goes for ₹16,999. The top-end 8GB/256GB option comes in at ₹17,999, all of which feel aggressively placed considering the specs. Realme is also running a launch sale on Flipkart from December 10, with prices dropping as low as ₹13,499 for a limited 12-hour window.
With this launch, it looks like Realme decided that spec sheets alone might be enough to make noise rather than spotlight partnerships. If the goal was to create a mid-range phone that punches above its weight, the P4x 5G might be one of its strongest swings yet.
