Samsung Galaxy Event September 2025: Everything Announced at the Event
Samsung has new series, and here's everything you need to know.
Samsung just unveiled its foldables at the July Unpacked event, but clearly, there is no limit to what can be revealed in a single year.
In the early hours of the day, Samsung returned to the stage with another Galaxy event, but this time, it focused on giving us more accessible phones, more powerful tablets, and a software experience deeply infused with AI. The headliners were the Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy Buds FE and the Galaxy Tab S11 series, but if you know Samsung long enough, you’d know it doesn’t just stop at the hardware. We also got a glimpse into how Samsung is reimagining daily interactions through One UI 8 and Galaxy AI, powered by Google Gemini.
As the event has shown, it doesn’t matter which device you pick, whether it's the S25 FE or the Tab S11 Ultra, Samsung is making AI the core of the Galaxy experience.
Meet the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE
A long-anticipated reveal, Samsung’s most affordable flagship entry, breaks the show. Samsung may be calling this the Fan Edition, but don’t let the name fool you, the Galaxy S25 FE is every bit a flagship, just made more accessible, starting at $649.

With a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and 120Hz refresh rate, it brings smooth scrolling and vibrant visuals to a wider audience. On the performance side, the phone runs on the Exynos 2400 (4nm) with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, for smooth multitasking, gaming, and AI-powered tasks. It also comes with a 4,900mAh battery paired with 45W fast charging and an upgraded vapor chamber for better thermal management.
Where Samsung really outplays itself with the S25 FE is in creativity. The triple-lens setup, a 50MP wide lens with OIS, 12MP ultra-wide, and 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, is backed by Samsung’s ProVisual Engine. Paired with an upgraded 12MP selfie camera, it introduces AI-powered features like Generative Edit that removes unwanted photo distractions, Instant Slow-mo for creating cinematic clips, Audio Eraser for filtering out unwanted background noise, and Portrait Studio for building avatars with true-to-life expressions.
Galaxy Tab S11 & Tab S11 Ultra
At the Galaxy event, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra. The Ultra, in particular, is now the thinnest Galaxy Tab ever at just 5.1mm, yet it doesn’t compromise on power. Both models are equipped with Samsung’s new 3nm processor, offering significant boosts in AI processing (33% faster NPU, 24% CPU, 27% GPU).

Samsung's aim with the Tab S11 series is to boost productivity and creativity. With the upgraded Samsung DeX, you can now run dual-screen setups with Extended Mode, drag apps between displays, and even create up to four personalized workspaces. Then there’s the redesigned S Pen, now with a cone-shaped tip for better tilt sensitivity and a hexagonal body for comfort. AI tools like Drawing Assist clean up sketches automatically, while Writing Assist helps adjust tone and style before sending out documents or emails. The Sticky Note feature is a small but powerful addition, letting you jot notes directly over documents without switching apps.
Galaxy Buds 3 FE: Premium Sound, Friendlier Price
Samsung also introduced the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, a more accessible addition to its audio lineup that brings Galaxy AI features to everyday listening. Borrowing the sleek “blade” design of the Buds 3 Pro, these earbuds offer intuitive pinch and swipe controls, improved comfort, and durability with an IP54 dust and water resistance rating. Inside, they pack larger 11mm speakers, upgraded Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), and 360 Audio for immersive sound. Battery life holds strong with up to 6 hours (ANC on), 8.5 hours (ANC off), and a total of 30 hours with the case—making them Samsung’s longest-lasting Galaxy Buds yet.

Where the Buds 3 FE shine is in their integration with Samsung’s AI ecosystem. Features like Crystal Clear Call with a six-mic array keep conversations crisp, while Galaxy AI and Gemini-powered real-time translation turn them into a travel companion for multilingual conversations. They also support Auto Switch, letting you move between your Galaxy phone, tablet, or laptop without missing a beat. Starting at $149.99, the Buds 3 FE bring premium performance, AI smarts, and long-lasting comfort at a price point that makes them one of the most appealing Galaxy Buds to date.
One UI 8: The Smarter Galaxy Experience
Samsung is also rolling out One UI 8 with the new devices, and it’s more than an interface update; it’s the AI brain that powers everything. It brings together numerous AI capabilities into the Samsung experience, including multimodal interaction, which allows you to easily switch between voice, touch, and visuals. Instead of searching manually, you can circle something on screen, ask a question out loud, or point your camera at an object, and the phone instantly understands the context. Whether you’re editing photos on the S25 FE or multitasking on the Tab S11 Ultra, the interface adapts to you.
AI Features Unveiled
Gemini Live: Conversations That See What You See
One of the most impressive Galaxy AI features is Gemini Live, which allows you to have real-time conversations with Gemini, but instead of just processing your words, it also processes what your camera sees. For instance, if you’re deciding what to pack for a trip, you can point your camera at two outfits and ask, “Which is better for the UK’s weather this week?” And Gemini will combine what it sees with live data to give you practical advice.
Now Bar & Now Brief: Information at the Right Time
With Now Bar and Now Brief, Samsung wants to replace your morning app shuffle with intelligent, proactive updates. The Now Bar lives on your lock screen, surfacing contextual info like music controls, quick shortcuts, or live notifications. Now Brief, meanwhile, provides a daily digest of everything you need to know: from traffic conditions to calendar reminders to your fitness stats. Instead of piecing together updates across apps, you get a curated, easy-to-glance snapshot that helps you start your day.
Circle to Search with Google
Samsung’s Circle to Search with Google is not new, but it gets a massive upgrade. With this update, if you're a gamer, you can circle an in-game challenge to get instant strategies in a floating window without leaving the game. Students also, can also circle complex text to get explanations or translations in real-time. Even casual users scrolling social media can circle an unfamiliar phrase and get context right on screen. It’s fast, and it keeps you in your flow without switching apps.
Knox KEEP: AI Security
With more personal data being processed through AI, Samsung has introduced Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection (KEEP). This system creates app-specific, encrypted storage vaults, ensuring each app can only access its own data. Paired with the Personal Data Engine (PDE) and Knox Vault, it guarantees that your Galaxy AI features work on-device while keeping sensitive info secure.
Conclusion
At first glance, the September Galaxy Event may have seemed smaller than Samsung’s big July Unpacked, but it was equally comes with a lot. With the Galaxy S25 FE, Samsung is making AI features more affordable and mainstream. With the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, it’s doubling down on productivity and creativity for power users. And with One UI 8, Gemini Live, and new tools like Now Bar and Knox KEEP, it’s laying the foundation for an AI-first Galaxy ecosystem. If July’s event was about showing off impressive foldable hardware, September’s was about proving that AI is the real future of Galaxy.
