On Monday, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy F70e 5G, the latest from its new Galaxy F70 Series, set to go on sale in India on February 17, 2026. The phone is designed for users who prioritise battery life and long-term software reliability.

Performance and Display
The Galaxy F70e 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, an octa-core processor built on a 6 nm process. Samsung states that the CPU speed reaches up to 2.4 GHz, so users can enjoy "up to 10% faster gaming than the previous generation SoC (system on a chip)."
According to Samsung, in benchmark testing, the chipset scores around 623,000 points on AnTuTu, which would place it competitively within the budget 5G segment.
It comes with two options, one paired with 4GB RAM and the other with 6GB RAM. Both options come with 128GB of internal storage.
On the front, the device features a large 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, which provides ultra-smooth scrolling and a more responsive experience in apps and games. To improve outdoor usability, the display includes a High Brightness Mode (HBM) that can reach 800 nits, ensuring its use in direct sunlight.

Battery and Design
Another headline feature of the Galaxy F70e 5G is its massive 6,000mAh battery. Samsung says that the battery can last up to two days on a single charge. It supports 25W fast charging.
The phone sports a premium look with a vegan leather textured back, available in two colours: Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue with leather finishes. It also features a "Key Island" design on the side frame and carries an IP54 rating for dust and water splash resistance.
Camera
The Galaxy F70e 5G comes with a camera system Samsung calls a "showstopper" for its category. It includes a 50MP (f/1.8) main camera with a 2MP depth sensor. For the front, it features an 8MP selfie camera.
Software and Security
The device will offer six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. The device runs on One UI 8.0 (Android 16).
Samsung also included its “Voice Focus” technology, which uses AI to filter out ambient noise during calls.
For data protection, the device integrates Samsung Knox Vault (EAL5+ certified), a hardware-based security solution that isolates sensitive data like PINs and biometric info from the main operating system to help protect against hardware-level attacks
Pricing and Availability
The Galaxy F70e 5G will be available in two variants:
- 4GB RAM + 128GB Storage: ₹12,499 ($138).
- 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage: ₹13,999 ($154).
It will be available on Samsung.com, Flipkart, and select retail stores. Samsung announced that customers also get an additional ₹500 ($5.51) limited-time discount.
