Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S11 Series: Here’s What to Expect
There's been so many leaks about the what the S11, S11 Ultra and even the S10 Lite will have to offer but here's our list of what we'll most likely get.
It’s that time of the year again when the Samsung rumour mill kicks into high gear. With the company’s yearly cycle of tablet launches nearly up, whispers of what the next big Galaxy Tab lineup could look like are starting to flood the internet.
Nothing is official yet, of course, but when it comes to Samsung, leaks tend to be surprisingly on the mark. And this year, the spotlight is on not one, but three devices: the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, the Galaxy Tab S11, and the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.
From slim new builds to battery bumps and even some surprising colour options, these tablets are shaping up to be some of the most interesting upgrades we’ve seen in a while. Let’s break them down.

Galaxy Tab S10 Lite: Affordable, but with a twist
The “Lite” edition has always been Samsung’s way of making its premium tablet experience a little more accessible, and the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite seems to be sticking to that formula, with a few welcome surprises.

Leaks suggest the S10 Lite will come with Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1380 processor, paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, which should be enough for most casual users. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB, plus a microSD slot if you need extra space. It’s also expected to pack an 8,000mAh battery with up to 25W charging, which isn’t groundbreaking but should keep you going through the day.
Where things get interesting is in design. The S10 Lite could feature an S Pen slot on the back, a detail usually reserved for Samsung’s higher-end models. And if that wasn’t enough, rumour has it that the tablet might come in a pink variant. Considering how rare bold colours are in the tablet space (Apple still mostly sticks with muted tones), this could give Samsung’s Lite model an edge in style appeal.
Galaxy Tab S11: The standard flagship
Moving up the ladder, we get to the Galaxy Tab S11, Samsung’s middle child that balances affordability with premium features. According to reports, the Tab S11 will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which is a pretty big shift away from the Snapdragon processors we’ve seen in previous years. This chip is designed to rival the best Qualcomm and Apple have to offer, so performance shouldn’t be a problem.
In terms of memory, we’re looking at 12GB of RAM with storage options stretching from 128GB all the way up to 512GB. The display is expected to remain a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, putting it firmly in iPad Pro territory. Samsung is also giving it an 8,400mAh battery with 45W fast charging, so you won’t be tethered to the wall for too long.
We could get a modest camera setup with a 13MP rear sensor and a 12MP selfie cam. But then again, tablets aren’t really made for photography, so hopes shouldn't be high for something spectacular. What will matter more to most users are the four stereo speakers, upgraded Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.4 support.

Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra: The beast of the lineup
Finally, we arrive at the headliner, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. If the leaks are anything to go by, Samsung wants to make this one the ultimate Android tablet.
First, the design: the S11 Ultra could be slimmer than last year’s S10 Ultra, shaving its thickness down to just 5.1mm. That’s thinner than most smartphones, which is impressive considering it’s also rumoured to house a massive 11,600mAh battery with 45W charging. For context, last year’s model packed around 11,200mAh, so this is a small but welcome bump.

Performance will once again lean on the Dimensity 9400+, but the Ultra could take things further with RAM and storage options topping out at 16GB and 1TB, respectively. This could make it one of the few tablets that can truly rival a laptop replacement setup, especially with Samsung’s DeX mode.
One curious detail is the display. The Ultra might feature an Infinity-U cutout with just one front-facing 12MP camera, a shift from previous dual-camera setups. While this might feel like a downgrade for some, it does suggest Samsung is prioritising display real estate and slimming things down as much as possible. Add Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and four booming stereo speakers, and you’ve got a machine built for both work and play.
When to expect the Galaxy Tab S11 Series
So, when can you actually get your hands on these tablets? Word is that Samsung could unveil the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, S11, and S11 Ultra in early September, right after its usual Unpacked event. Pricing is also rumoured to be similar to last year’s lineup, with the S10 Lite starting around €399, the S11 at €899, and the Ultra at a hefty €1,339.
Of course, none of this is set in stone until Samsung makes things official. But if the leaks are accurate, and they usually are, we could see interesting things in Samsung's latest lineup.
