The feature will give users real-time stats on their top songs and artists, turning music listening into an ongoing story, not just a year-end moment.

If you’ve ever wished Spotify Wrapped didn’t just show up once a year good news: you’re about to get a bite-sized version every week.

Spotify is rolling out a new “listening stats” feature that works like a mini Wrapped, giving users a fresh weekly snapshot of their music habits. It breaks down your most-played artists and songs, curates playlists inspired by what you’ve been spinning lately, and even includes highlights like new artist discoveries and fan milestones that capture your unique listening style.

In short, it’s Wrapped but in real time.

The feature is available for both free and premium users across more than 60 regions globally, and you can find it by tapping your profile image in the app. Each set of stats sticks around for four weeks, so you can track how your tastes evolve or notice when that one breakup song keeps sneaking back into your rotation.

Just like the annual Wrapped, you can share your weekly stats straight to Instagram or WhatsApp, letting everyone know you’re still deep in your Burna Boy or Billie Eilish era.

Spotify adds ‘Follow Venue’ feature to bring live concerts closer to listeners
Now users will be able to get updates on concerts or shows coming to venues near them.

While this new feature is lighter on detail than the big year-end event, it turns your Spotify data into an ongoing experience, not just a once-a-year celebration. It also gives Spotify another way to keep users engaged between Wrapped seasons which, if you think about it, is a clever move in the age of short attention spans and weekly algorithm updates.

This update also places Spotify shoulder to shoulder with Apple Music, which launched a monthly Replay feature last year and later integrated it into iOS 26. Both platforms are clearly betting on data-driven storytelling turning your listening habits into personalized entertainment.

By making music stats a consistent part of the app experience, Spotify is deepening user attachment and encouraging social sharing year-round. Wrapped may have started as a year-end viral marketing moment, but with features like this, Spotify is turning listening behavior into lifestyle branding.

The takeaway

Spotify’s weekly Wrapped isn’t just a fun new feature it’s a signal of where streaming is headed: more personalization, more engagement, and more storytelling through your data. In a world where attention is currency, Spotify’s making sure your listening story never stops being told.
