Khaby Lame, the Senegalese-born TikTok superstar and the platform’s most-followed creator, has made a landmark business move, striking a $900 million acquisition and strategic partnership deal with U.S.-listed Rich Sparkle Holdings. This transaction is one of the largest monetization deals ever executed by a global digital creator.
The deal involves the partial sale of Khaby’s company, Step Distinctive Limited, giving Rich Sparkle exclusive global commercial rights to Lame’s brand for an initial 36-month period. Beyond traditional influencer marketing, this move positions Khaby as a controlling shareholder, signalling a shift toward equity-driven creator commerce.

Under the agreement, Rich Sparkle will manage Khaby Lame’s brand partnerships, licensing, endorsements, and e-commerce ventures. The company estimates that the combined infrastructure of traffic, fulfilment, operations, and proprietary technology could eventually generate over $4 billion in annual sales once fully scaled.
As part of the deal, Khaby will maintain a controlling stake in Rich Sparkle Holdings, turning him into both a creative and equity partner in the global commercial strategy. Initially, the rollout will focus on the United States, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, with collaborations involving Anhui Xiaoheiyang Network Technology, a China-based creator-led e-commerce operator.
In addition to conventional business ventures, the deal also allows for the development of an AI-powered digital twin of Khaby Lame, enabling regulated use of his facial features, voice, and mannerisms. This digital twin could support multilingual content, virtual livestreams, and continuous audience engagement.
Khaby Lame’s rise to global prominence is rooted in his silent, minimalist videos that humorously deconstruct overly complicated life hacks. His wordless format allowed him to transcend language barriers, amassing a culturally diverse audience across social media platforms. Today, Khaby commands approximately 360 million followers worldwide, making him one of the most influential digital figures ever.
The broader commercial strategy includes premium brand collaborations, co-branded intellectual property, and expansion into sectors such as beauty, fragrance, and apparel. This deal demonstrates how creator influence is increasingly evolving into long-term, industrial-scale business ventures.
The Takeaway
Khaby Lame’s $900 million deal represents a new era for creators, showing that digital influence can be transformed into scalable, equity-driven business ventures. Beyond traditional sponsorships, creators are now able to leverage their brand, reach, and even AI-powered digital likenesses to generate industrial-scale revenue. For aspiring creators, this signals that the future of influence isn’t just about viral content, it’s about building lasting commercial ecosystems around personal brands.
