December has officially kicked off recap season, and Twitch has now joined the party. The 2025 Twitch Recap is live, giving everyone a chance to finally see how many hours they spent watching streams this year, whether you were glued to a favourite creator, farming watch-time for in-game drops, or drifting off to someone’s late-night Valorant queue. It’s time to face the numbers.

To check your recap, you just head to the Twitch Annual Recap page and log in. Within seconds, you’ll see your personal stats or the global community recap if you want the bigger picture. Once it loads, you can scroll through everything and share your highlights across social media, where people will absolutely judge your sleep schedule.

Your recap shows the usual breakdown, including your total hours watched, the days you were active on Twitch, the creators you kept returning to, and the games or categories that defined your year. It’s a simple way to see whether you spent more time in Just Chatting, esports broadcasts, or background “cozy” streams while you worked.

Twitch also shared its global trends, and the platform’s biggest hits are familiar. Grand Theft Auto V (GTA5) continues to dominate as the most-watched game even after more than ten years. League of Legends and Marvel Rivals follow closely behind with enormous communities that kept the platform busy in 2025.

The creator numbers tell their own story. Twitch confirmed 1 million active streamers this year, a 20% jump in athlete and celebrity-led streams, and 9 million new creators joining the platform in 2025 alone. The streaming scene is growing faster, louder, and far more competitive.

Some records stood out. Kai Cenat once again led the platform, becoming Twitch’s top streamer of the year with over 900,000 subscribers and coming close to the one-million mark. Spain’s influencer boxing show, La Velada del Año, reclaimed its title as Twitch’s most-viewed event. New games like Battlefield 6, Marvel Rivals, and PEAK also ranked among the hottest titles of the year.

The takeaway

Twitch Recap 2025 isn’t just a fun look back, it’s a snapshot of how livestreaming shaped the year. Whether you watched a comfort streamer every night or followed major esports finals, the recap bundles all those moments into one neat package and shows just how big the Twitch community has become. Recap season is in full swing now, and Twitch has set the tone. Spotify Wrapped is up next.
