Africa's startup ecosystem continues to face challenges in securing significant funding on the global stage.
Despite the continent's large population and growing economy, Africa's share of global funding remains minimal, accounting for less than 1% of the total funding raised worldwide, as shown in the Techloy chart below. But, despite this negligible influence on global funding volumes, Africa's startup funding has demonstrated a unique pattern of growth.
