Asia’s startup funding remained active this week, with $141.37 million raised across consumer technology, energy, AI, quantum computing, education, healthcare, and robotics. India accounted for most of the announced deals, while startups in Japan and Singapore also attracted capital for deeptech innovation and enterprise technology. 

The Week’s Biggest Startup Funding Rounds 

Here are the most notable startup funding announcements across Asia this week, ranked from highest to lowest. 

/1. DailyObjects, $34.4 Million, Consumer Technology, India 

Indian consumer brand DailyObjects raised ₹3.3 billion (about $34.4 million) in a Series C funding round led by Xponentia Capital Partners, Anicut Capital and Axiom Asia Private Capital. 

The round included both primary and secondary transactions and values the company at ₹10.5 billion (approximately $109 million). DailyObjects sells design-focused consumer products and will use the funding to support its continued growth. 

/2. Helical Fusion, $20.6 Million, Fusion Energy, Japan 

Japanese fusion energy startup Helical Fusion raised ¥3.23 billion (about $20.6 million) in the second close of its Series B funding round. 

The company is developing a helical stellarator, a type of fusion reactor designed for continuous power generation. The funding will accelerate its Helix programme, including the Helix HARUKA demonstration reactor and its planned power-generation system, Helix KANATA. 

/3. OneByZero, $20 Million, Enterprise AI, Singapore 

Singapore-based enterprise AI company OneByZero secured $20 million in its first external funding round, led by Jungle Ventures. 

The company plans to expand its engineering teams across Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, the US, and Vietnam. It also intends to establish a team in Japan as demand for enterprise AI solutions grows. 

/4. Lumio, $12 Million, Consumer Technology, India 

Indian consumer technology brand Lumio, operated by Circuit House Technologies, raised $12 million in a Series A funding round led by Blume Ventures. 

Existing investors Stellaris Venture Partners and 3one4 Capital also participated. Lumio will use the capital for research and development, product expansion, brand building, and recruitment, while improving customer experience and after-sales support. 

/5. Beyond Appliances, $11.4 Million, Smart Home Technology, India 

Bengaluru-based smart kitchen appliances company Beyond Appliances raised ₹110 crore (about $11.4 million) in a Series B round led by Fireside Ventures, with participation from Dharana Capital and other investors. 

The company plans to expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen product development, and enter new kitchen appliance categories. The funding comes roughly a year after it raised $4 million in a round also led by Fireside Ventures. 

/6. Quanfluence, $10 Million, Quantum Computing, India 

Bengaluru-based quantum computing startup Quanfluence secured $10 million in a funding round led by Chiratae Ventures. Rainmatter by Zerodha and existing investor Pi Ventures also participated. 

The company is developing a full-stack photonic quantum computing system that combines photonic chips, control electronics, and software into a single architecture. The funding will support the development of this technology. 

/7. byteXL, $9 Million, EdTech, India 

Hyderabad-based edtech company byteXL raised $9 million in a funding round led by Elevar Equity, with participation from Kalaari Capital and The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. 

The investment follows its $5.9 million Series A round in July 2024, which was led by Kalaari Capital with support from the Dell Foundation.
