With just four months left until Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, all eyes have shifted to a single date on the calendar: August 7, when Take-Two Interactive holds its next quarterly earnings call.

Rockstar Games has released no Trailer 3, date, or confirmation that one is even coming, but the timing of that call, and a reported change to how Take-Two is holding it, has become the strongest signal fans have to work with.

Why August 7 Is the Date Everyone Is Watching

Take-Two's earnings call has drawn attention for reasons beyond the calendar. According to earlier reporting, the publisher shifted this quarter's call to run before US markets open rather than after they close, a break from its usual pattern that some fans read as a sign the company is bracing for major news.

Combined with the fact that the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which many expected Rockstar to avoid competing with, concluded on July 19, the window between now and Take-Two's call has become the most-watched stretch of the entire GTA 6 marketing run. As Forbes' Brian Mazique put it, Trailer 3 has become "the final piece of the summer hype train."
