IFA 2025: Top New Products from Europe's Biggest Tech Showcase

One of Europe’s biggest tech show just wrapped up with ambitious concepts and polished devices. Here are the best products that caught our attention.

by Louis Eriakha David Adubiina

The Innovation for All (IFA) 2025 tech showcase took place in Berlin, Germany, from September 5 to September 9, bringing together some of the biggest names in consumer electronics. Known as Europe’s largest technology trade show, IFA has long been the stage where companies reveal their boldest ideas and latest products, and this year was no different.

From clever concepts to powerful hardware, IFA 2025 proved that innovation remains at the core of the tech industry. Of course, not every device will reshape our daily lives, but a few stood out for their unique designs and forward-thinking features.

Here are our top picks from IFA 2025 that grabbed our attention.

Lenovo ThinkBook VertiFlex Concept

At first glance, the ThinkBook VertiFlex is just another 14-inch clamshell. But twist the display 90 degrees, and it transforms into a vertical screen with 45% more space, perfect for long documents, spreadsheets, or coding. No fragile folding parts here, just a sturdy hinge that keeps the design light (1.39kg) and slim (17.9mm). It also works with Lenovo’s Smart Connect app, letting you use your phone as an extra screen.

Lenovo Smart Motion Concept

If you’re a remote worker who uses your laptop a lot, this might interest you a bit. Lenovo's Smart Motion Concept takes a common accessory and gives it a level of intelligence that feels straight out of a sci-fi film. On the surface, it's a laptop stand, but beneath, it’s a bit more.

Nicknamed “Project Ballet,” the laptop stand uses AI to track your face through the webcam and adjusts the screen’s height and angle automatically for better ergonomics. It doubles as a cooling dock with extra ports and can even be controlled with a wave of your hand using a smart ring. Still just a concept, but it hints at a future where desks adjust themselves to you.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE

At the IFA event, it looks like Samsung is reviving its popular Fan Edition (FE) line with the Galaxy S25 FE launch. A budget alternative to the flagship S25 lineup, the phone promises to deliver a high-end experience without the high cost.

The Galaxy S25 FE is special in the sense that it introduces the latest Galaxy AI features, including advanced Generative Edit camera software and on-device AI deployment. It also boasts the latest One UI 8 and is powered by the Exynos 2400 processor for smooth performance and an improved user interface. With its large 6.7-inch AMOLED screen and powerful camera system, the S25 FE kind of feels like a stripped-down version of its flagship brother that might not be the go-to for power users, but is definitely still more than enough for many.

Samsung has new series, and here’s everything you need to know.

Honor Magic V5

Honor made waves at IFA with the global unveiling of the Honor Magic V5. Foldable handsets have been around for a while now, but the Magic V5 is set to challenge the big names in the fold industry as it measures just 4.1mm when unfolded. That’s thinner than the latest Samsung Fold 7.

Despite that slim frame, it packs a huge 5,820mAh battery, a reinforced hinge, and dust-and-water protection. It’s a mix of light, tough, and long-lasting, a real challenger to Samsung’s dominance in foldables.

Acer Predator X27U F8

For competitive gamers, the Predator X27U F8 is all about speed. This 26.5-inch OLED monitor has a mind-blowing native 540Hz refresh rate at a QHD resolution (2560 x 1440), but its most unique feature is its Dual-Mode functionality. By dropping the resolution to HD (1280 x 720), the monitor can achieve an insane 720Hz refresh rate. This level of flexibility gives competitive eSports players a significant edge, as they can prioritise the highest possible frame rate for split-second reactions.

Acer Nitro XZ403CKR

If immersion is more your style, Acer’s Nitro XZ403CKR is a 39.7-inch curved ultrawide with a dramatic 1000R curve. It wraps around your field of view at 5K resolution and 180Hz, creating a cinematic feel perfect for simulators or open-world games. Add in a quick 0.5ms response time and FreeSync, and it’s as smooth as it is massive.

For gamers seeking a comprehensive, cinematic experience, you might want to keep an eye on the Acer Nitro XZ403CKR

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra

Launched earlier in the week at the September Galaxy event, Samsung again showcased its Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. It’s impossibly thin (just 0.20 inches) but still manages to pack in a massive 14.6-inch OLED screen and quad speakers. That combo alone screams “ultimate media machine.” Samsung is also pushing multitasking further on Android, which is great if you’re someone who actually tries to replace a laptop with a tablet.

The new S Pen is fun too — shaped like an old-school No. 2 pencil but with a bigger nib for smoother writing. Both the tablet and the pen are IP68-rated, so you can even sketch or jot notes without worrying about dust or water. It’s not a device for everyone, but the people who want it are going to love it.

Lenovo Legion Go 2

Image: Lenovo

Remember the first Legion Go? Lenovo’s back with the Legion Go 2, and detachable controllers are officially cool again. The new model swaps its IPS display for an OLED panel with variable refresh rates (30–144 Hz). The resolution takes a small dip, but the payoff is better color and smoother gameplay.

Battery life gets a huge boost thanks to a 74 WHr pack, and storage now goes up to 2TB internally, with another 2TB possible via microSD. The price is steeper at $1,049 (up from $749 for the original), but between the specs and build, it looks like a serious contender in the handheld gaming space.

Rokid Glasses

Image: Rokid

The Rokid Glasses were one of those “oh, this is the future” moments at IFA. They run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 chip, have dual Micro LED displays, and pack a 12MP camera with a 4-mic array. Specs aside, what makes them stand out are the use cases: live language translation, multimodal AI support with ChatGPT-5, AR navigation overlays, and even a camera viewfinder so you know exactly what you’re snapping.

At $599, Rokid is clearly trying to undercut whatever Meta has cooking in this space with a launch price rumoured around $800.. If these work as smoothly in the real world as they did in demos, they could be the AR glasses to watch.

JLab JBuds Open Headphones

Image: JLab

Then there’s JLab with something a little different: the JBuds Open Headphones. These don’t have the typical closed-back design you’d expect. They’re open-backed, which means no ANC, but that’s not really the point. These are for when you want to dive deep into music while still being aware of what’s happening around you.

They might not be your everyday commute headphones, but for dedicated listening sessions where you also need to hear others, they deliver.

Dreame Bionic QuadTrack Stair Climbing System

Image: Tom's guide

This one got a lot of attention simply because it’s… well, a robot vacuum that climbs stairs. The Dreame Bionic QuadTrack Stair Climbing System uses tank-like tracks to scale steps up to 9.8 inches high. Clip it onto a Dreame vacuum and suddenly, stairs aren’t an obstacle anymore.

There’s no release date yet, and it won’t work with older Dreame bots, but the idea alone is wild. Instead of your vacuum crying for help at the edge of a staircase, it just keeps going.

Ecovacs Deebot X11 Omnicyclone

Image: Ecovacs

Ecovacs took a different approach with the Deebot X11 Omnicyclone. It doesn’t climb stairs, but it’s one of the most powerful robot vacuums around — 19,500Pa of suction, a mop that scrubs and lifts, and clever AI that recognizes rooms, furniture, and obstacles. Its TruePass 4WD system handles thresholds most bots can’t cross.

Paired with a self-cleaning, self-emptying base, it’s aiming to be the most hands-off cleaning robot yet. If you hate floor chores, this might be your dream setup.

Conclusion

IFA 2025 showed once again that tech can be playful, practical, and sometimes a little strange. From Samsung’s giant tablet to a robot vacuum that laughs at stairs, these gadgets all try to solve problems in their own unique way.

We’ve shared the ones that caught our eyes, but we are curious about which one actually impressed you? Would you go for the futuristic Rokid Glasses, the powerhouse Deebot X11, or maybe the stair-climbing Dreame just for the fun of it?

Drop a comment and let's hear what stood out to you.
