Bellatrix, an in-space propulsion firm based in India has raised $8 million in its new funding round led by BASF Venture Capital GmbH and Inflexor Ventures.

  • The funds will be used to support its 4-thruster modules scheduled for the year-end and scale its space transportation technology.
  • The firm will also hire new talents, build out new products, and develop its infrastructure for space products.
  • Launched in 2015, Bellatrix offers chemical and electric propulsion technologies.
  • StartupXseed, Pavestone Capital, Survam Partners, Karsemven Fund, and the Mankind Pharma family office among others participated in the round.
