These are the funding deals we tracked in Asia this week — featuring Tars, Galaxea, Robotera, Credit Wise Capital, Smartworks, Khetika, Varthana, Augmentus, Belong, Chai Bisket, 1Office, Uweb, and Clean Fanatics.
Asia’s startup scene saw strong funding momentum this week, with $410.3 million raised across robotics, fintech, edtech, SaaS, and consumer goods. China continues to dominate the high-ticket investments in the AI and robotics frontier, while India saw robust early-stage and growth activity in education, consumer finance, and food-tech.
Leading the charts this week is Tars, a Chinese embodied AI startup, which raised a whopping $122 million in an Angel+ funding round. The funding will be used to accelerate product development and expand Tars' global presence.
Also in China, Galaxea, another embodied AI player, closed $100 million in A4 and A5 strategic financing rounds. The fund will be used to improve end-to-end models for visual-language-action systems, develop joint modules, and expand production capacity.
Meanwhile, Robotera, a Chinese intelligent robotics startup, secured $69 million in Series A funding to expand its manufacturing capabilities and help support research and development.
Moving to India, Credit Wise Capital, a consumer lending platform focused on financing two-wheelers and EVs, raised $23.3 million in a growth funding round. The company plans to use the fund to scale its credit distribution and tech platform across underserved markets.

India’s Smartworks, a managed workspace provider, raised $20 million from anchor investors ahead of its planned IPO. The startup will use the money raised to open new offices, pay off or reduce loans, and cover general business expenses.
Also, India's Khetika, a full-stack agri-inputs and distribution startup, closed an $18 million Series B round to expand the brand, grow into new areas, set up manufacturing facilities, and launch clean-label food products.
In the edtech space, India-based Varthana raised $18.5 million in debt funding to support affordable school financing across Tier 2 and Tier 3 regions.
Singapore-based Augmentus, a no-code robotics platform for industrial automation, raised $11 million in a Series A+ round. The company will use the funds to scale its global presence and support manufacturing clients seeking to adopt automation without coding expertise.
India’s Belong, a fintech startup targeting non-resident Indians (NRIs), raised $5 million in a funding round. The fund will be used to obtain licenses, promote the company's brand, develop new products, and expand into new markets.
Also raising $5 million, Hyderabad-based Chai Bisket secured seed funding to launch its new ready-to-drink product line, Chai Shots.
From Vietnam, SaaS platform 1Office raised $3 million to enhance product development, improve user experience, and expand its market reach.
India’s Uweb, which focuses on digital asset education and adoption, also raised $3 million in angel funding to grow into new markets faster, improve its courses and products, and use AI to support its global plans.
Rounding out the week, Bengaluru-based Clean Fanatics raised $2 million in seed funding to grow the team and improve the company’s technology systems.
